Basic chemical properties：

Pure product is colorless crystal, m.p. 177～178℃ (decomposition), easily soluble in dimethylformamide, chloroform; soluble in acetone, methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate, dioxane; insoluble in water. Stable to acid and alkali. Industrial product is light yellowish crystal.
