Description:Tert-butyl acrylate is an extremely important chemical basic raw material and intermediate. Because of its unique and highly active polar molecules, unsaturated double bonds and carboxylate (-COOR) structure, it can be derived from many kinds of It has a polymer formula with good performance, and prepares plastic, cross-linked and other polymers through emulsion polymerization, solution polymerization, copolymerization and other processing methods. Its polymer adhesion is strong, its transparency is good, and its film formation is clear, which makes it have great potential in the modification of various chemicals. Detergents, synthetic fibers, synthetic rubber, plastics, leather, adhesives, etc. have been more and more widely used.
Characteristics:
Tert-Butyl Acrylate can be used to impart the following properties to polymers:
•Hydrophobicity
•Chemical stability
•Crosslinking
•Hardness
•Scratch resistance
•Adhesion
•High solids
•Weatherability.
Application:tert-Butyl Acrylate forms homopolymers and copolymers. Copolymers of tert-Butyl Acrylate can be prepared with acrylic acid and its salts, amides and esters, and with methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic acid est rs, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, butadiene, unsaturated polyesters and drying oils, etc. tert-Butyl Acrylate is also a very useful feedstock for chemical syntheses, because it readily undergoes variety of organic and inorganic compounds.

Transportation and storage:
Avoid shine rain and high temperature in transportation,In order to prevent polymerization, tert-Butyl Acrylate must always be stored under air, and never under inert gases. The presence of oxygen is required for the stabilizer to function effectively. It has to contain a stabilizer and the storage temperature must not exceed 35 °C. Under these conditions, a storage stability of one year can be expected. In order to minimize the likelihood of overstorage, the storage procedure should strictly follow the “first-in-first-out” principle. For extended storage periods over 4 weeks it is advisable to replenish the dissolved oxygen content.Storage tanks and pipes should be made of stainless steel or aluminium.Regulations for the storage of flammable liquids must be observed (explosion-proof electrical equipment, vented tanks with flame arresters etc.).Storage tanks, pumps and pipes must be earthed.
