Description:Vinyl acetate (VAC), also known as vinyl acetate, is an important organic chemical raw material. Through self polymerization or copolymerization with other monomers, vinyl acetate can produce products such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer (EVA), polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), vinyl acetate vinyl chloride copolymer (EVC), and so on. These products have a wide range of uses, generally used in adhesives, paper or fabric sizing agents, paints, inks, leather processing, emulsifiers, water-soluble films, soil improvers and so on.

Application:

1. Vinyl acetate is the main raw material for the manufacture of synthetic fiber vinylon.

2. Vinyl acetate is polymerized by itself or copolymerized with sub-monomers to obtain polyvinyl alcohol, EVA, EVC, vinyl acetate-acrylonitrile fibers, vinyl acetate-acrylate copolymers, all of which have important industrial uses and are widely used. It is used as a binder, construction coating Chemicalbook material, textile sizing and finishing agent, paper strengthening agent, and for the manufacture of safety glass, etc.

3. Vinyl acetate reacts with ethanol and bromine to obtain the intermediate of the drug Methionazole – bromoacetaldehyde diethyl acetal.

4. It is used for resin fiber synthesis, and also used as intermediate and binder of oil pour point depressant and thickener
