Basic chemical properties：

Pure product is colorless to light yellow crystal, vapor pressure <0.01MPa, density d25 1.61g/cm3, solubility in water (20℃) is 700g/L, slightly soluble in ethanol and carbonyl solvents, insoluble in non-polar organic solvents. Stable in acidic and neutral solutions, but unstable in alkaline conditions. decomposes at 300°C or more.
